Last night October 9th, 2015 I was able to attend a sneakerheads event at Epitome. Epitome is a trendy boutique located in Atlanta’s Buckhead area, 252 Pharr Rd to be exact. The event was presented by Complex magazine and McDonalds. Cocktails were on deck, sounds were provided by DJ Martina McFlyy and the event ran smoothly.
If you like fresh and exclusive kicks Epitome will defintley meet your needs. I’ve been invited to past events at this store and they’re always on point. The event started at 7pm, I arrived at 7:30 ish to ensure entry. The PR girls were dressed in all black ( standard event fit) awaiting guest along with security. I was on the list so it was all good!
Being that it was a sneakerheads event, it’s common sense to bring out your heat. I wore my volt custom Huaraches. I like being as exclusive as possible when going to events. I’m proud to say no one had on my sneakers and I received props on them.
There were all types of sneakers in the building. The most unique sneaker that came through was the Adidas Xeno. The XENO material prizes itself for its potent color-changing ability under direct light and is inspired by a snake species found in Southeast Asia.-Sneakernews
