So it turns out the gown worn by Lupita Nyonogo allegedly worth $150,000 was adorn with phony pearls!!
Not too much effort had to be put into locating the dress being that it was returned back to the same Hollywood hotel where it was stolen from.
The thief that stole the dress was soooooo disappointed with his findings, he placed a call to TMZ to tell them about the faux pearls. Baby those thieves were ready to cash out!! lmao!! Smh
The Women’s Creative Director for Calvin Klein released this statement regarding the gown:
“All of us at Calvin Klein are thrilled,” said Costa. “Once it’s returned to us, we will be able to have the dress restored and archived, as it now represents an important moment for the brand.”
However she failed to address the fake pearls* side eye*
